Coordinator: Karen Hanson

“The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” (Matt 9:37)

Evangelization Committee

The Evangelization Team works to brainstorm and implement different ways to share the faith, both within the parish (adult faith formation) and outside the parish. We need people who are passionate about the faith and who want to help us share Christ!

Adult Faith Formation

Our parish offers different faith formation opportunities for adults, so that adults can grow in their understanding of the faith and deepen their relationship with Christ. Discovering the beauties of our Catholic faith is a lifelong adventure!

Parish Library

Only 2% of American Catholics have read a Catholic book in the last year. We seek to change that by searching out the best, most interesting Catholic books and providing copies for parishioners to borrow in our little parish library. Our parish library committee meets as needed to brainstorm and research new titles to gradually add to our collection.

Lighthouse Catholic Media

One of the best ways to learn about the faith is by listening to top-notch Catholic speakers. We have nine talks available on CD in our gathering space, for a suggested donation of $3 each. The available titles are changed every few months.

Infant Baptism Preparation

This ministry assists Father in preparing the parents for the baptism of their child. Parents typically meet with Father first, and then attend an introductory class led by a married couple, at which point the baptism may be scheduled.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

RCIA is the process through which adults who are searching and inquiring about the Catholic Faith are received fully into the Church. Studies are focused on the Lord Jesus, his teachings, the Sacraments and Church Doctrine in a lecture/discussion process. Inquiry sessions begin the process and vary in duration based on the inquirer. This is followed by more formal study that usually begins in late August.
