Mt 5:43-48

This final antithesis is for many the most challenging. Jesus tells his disciples that they must not act in the same way their enemies might act. They are to treat all others as God wills as opposed to the inclination of their human nature.

The words “Easier said than done” come to mind. Clearly, I forget that you O God are guiding and gracing me in a way that makes your will possible for me.
