Jn 8:1-11

Today’s readings focus entirely on God’s love and abounding mercy. The first reading is the story of Susanna, unjustly accused in Deuteronomy. The 23rd Psalm offers words of consolation and comfort. In John’s Gospel, Jesus publicly forgives the adulterous woman. There is no doubt that God cares deeply for his people.

You are my shepherd, always at my side. You stand by me, leading and guiding. You console and comfort me. You forgive my sins. You love me.
