Jn 5:1-16

Water is an important part of all of today’s readings, significant given the Lenten theme of the living water of baptism. A man who has been ill for a very long time waits at this place with water known for its healing power. Though he is unable to get into the water, he is healed by Jesus’ word.

How sad it is when people are so stuck in their ways and see only what they want to see. Today I pray that they see and hear the truth, your truth.
