Jn 19:25-34

The first reading and the Gospel today show clearly the vast difference between two women. Mary’s “yes” stands in sharp contrast to Eve’s rejection of God’s will. Mary stands faithfully beneath the cross on which is hung her Son, God’s Son, our salvation.

Pray for us, intercede for us dear Mother. We need the grace to overcome our weaknesses and heal our brokenness.
