Mt 13:36-43

Jesus’ detailed explanation of the parable has two distinct focuses. Those who do good and those who do evil co-exist, but their destinies lie in God’s final judgment. God is patient and merciful hoping that those who do evil will turn to him.

Your mercy exceeds all that we deserve. At the moment of death, you are there ready to offer another opportunity to turn away from sin and back to you.
